With increasing popularity, dodgeball has quickly emerged as an international fixture. The World Dodgeball Federation was founded as a governing body in 2011 by the associations of Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Romania, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. With its headquarters in Toronto, the WDBF is the acting International Federation for dodgeball and boasts seven national members worldwide and counting. The WDBF has an elected board of members and works to see dodgeball be played at the highest levels of local, regional, continental, international and Olympic competitions. The WDBF organizes all of dodgeball’s major international tournaments and most notably the annual WDBF World Invitational that takes place in a different part of the world each year.
